Florence Nightingale Foundation
The Florence Nightingale Foundation (FNF) supports nurses and midwives to improve care and save lives. The Foundation’s principal focus is on improving health, clinical outcomes and patient experience, through building nursing and midwifery leadership capacity and capability. It does this by enabling nurses and midwives to access sophisticated and bespoke leadership development opportunities, both in the UK and overseas, tailored to the participants’ needs
“The Florence Nightingale Foundation Academy is providing leadership development to nurses and midwives working at all levels and within a diverse range of clinical settings. Our vibrant alumni community represent an inclusive and expert group whose experience and knowledge feeds directly into our policy work and generation of evidence. The Academy offers an avenue for independent thought leadership and high-quality educational provision that is agile and responsive to workforce needs.” Professor Geemma Stacey, Deputy Chief Executive Office and Director of FNF Policy Unit.
