HEALTH RECORDS Reminder: Email correspondence related to patients or residents

A reminder to all clinicians, any email correspondence relating to care or discussions about our patients and residents should be saved as an attachment or entered as a generic case note within that patient’s PatientSource record.  These officially form part of the patient’s health record and prior to EPR was always a challenge to gather together.  EPR helps with this now so we have all the pertinent information about our patients and residents in one handy place!

A handy hint, if you want to filter for just entries that contain attachments, press the new “paperclip” symbol at the top of case notes!
